The canonical order plan reads from Genesis through Revelation and distributes them as evenly as possible. Fr. Adam’s preferred reading order includes an Old Testament, Gospel, and New Testament (Acts through Revelation) reading every day. Those three tracks each remain in canonical order.
Both plans use SBL book abbreviations and the chapter and verse numbering of the New American Bible Revised Edition. Esther’s Greek additions appear as A–F with their Vulgate numbering in parentheses; Daniel includes the longer chapter 3 and chapters 13–14.
